18:00 - 19:30 Panel
Is There a Killer Application for On-Demand Networking?
AKA: challenges Ahead
Organizer and Chair : Renato Lo Cigno, DIT - University of Trento Italy

The aim of this panel is understanding what can be the role of networks that can be quickly deployed, with at least some amount of self-configuration, self-organization, self-running capabilities (does this sound like "autonomic"?), in the future of communications.

The panel will be organized with a quick introduction by the Chair, stimulating the audience with some open questions and issues. Panelists will in turn present some provocative position (max. 5-minutes, 5-slides), then open discussion shall start.
