Welcome to IFIP WONS 2006

The Third Annual Conference on Wireless On demand Network Systems and Services will take place from January 18th to 20th, 2006 in Les Ménuires, France.

News: the two days prior to the conference the COST 295 meeting (Dynamo) will be held in the same location. More information canbe found on the colocated events page.

This event follows the two successful previous editions combining scientific quality and wonderful locations, WONS 2004, Madonna di Campiglio, Italy, and WONS 2005, St. Moritz, Switzerland.

Les Ménuires (website) is a station located in the Savoie region, heart of the French Alps. The station is at an altitude of 1850 m and the ski domain goes up to 3200 m. The station counts 62 alpine skiing slopes and 28 km of cross-country skiing tracks. It belongs to the "Trois Vallées" ski domain, the largest ski domain in the world (600 km of slopes, 200 ski lifts) and is directly connected to Val-Thorens, La Tania, Courchevel and Méribel.

The conference will be scheduled on the basis of presentations in the morning and late afternoon, leaving the afternoons free for discussions between participants and social activities.
